Our NPO’s mission is to provide unemployed community members with skills development training, empowerment, manufacturing and entrepreneurial skills while creating sustainable job opportunities. 

themba Lomphakathi Community Organisation is known for its passionate and impactful contribution in Skills Training for youth in vulnerable sub-sectors of the economy, strong affiliation with Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs), informal traders, cooperatives, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), and local communities.

We are here to help address the Challenges facing rural communities which include:

Poor or lack of access to socio-economic infrastructure and services.

Poor or lack of access to public amenities and government services.

Low levels of literacy and skills levels.

Decay of the social fabric and decline in indigenous cultural values.

Our vision is to create lasting solutions to social-ills through provision of skills development to the unskilled men, women and youth.

We implement a comprehensive and integrated arts, craft, clothing and textile development support programs for community members as a way of imparting skills for sustainable impact and livelihood possibilities.
